Mother At Large Blogger Signs For The Friday Project

Posted at 1:23PM Wednesday 10 Oct 2007

Scott Pack at The Friday Project has signed up the popular parenting blog Mother At Large. The author, Helen Fowler, was a journalist before embarking on the more challenging career of motherhood in her late 30s. Her blog, to be found at www.motheratlarge.com, charts the ups and downs of parenting when you are classed as an 'older mum' which applies to anyone over 35! The book, as yet untitled, will be full of honest, practical and accessible advice for anyone who has decided to wait a while before having their kids.

Scott Pack says: "I love Helen's blog and the down-to-earth approach she brings to parenting. Like it or not, becoming a parent in your late 30s or 40s brings with it different challenges and issues and few books tackle that area adequately. With more and more parents choosing to delay having kids until later in life I believe this is going to be a very popular book."

The book is scheduled for New Year 2009.
