Sanghera is an experienced feature writer and interviewer who, hitting 30 and splitting up with his white girlfriend, decided to explore his roots and make some sense of his life through writing the story of how his parents met and settled in Wolverhampton. Initially, several paths into this story must have seemed obvious.
