Foyles To Double?

Posted at 10:14PM Thursday 08 May 2008

Foyles flagship store on Charing Cross Road could more than double in size if a property deal currently being negotiated by the Foyle family's property company, Noved Investment, is successful.

The properties in question, at 111 (25,000 sq ft) and 107 to 109 (88,000 sq ft) Charing Cross Road, are currently home to Central St Martins School of Art. Foyles already has a long lease on 111 and has now bought the freehold. It has also put in a bid, believed to be in the region of £30m, for numbers 107 to 109.
