HMV Group's H2 Sales Top HopesPosted at 7:24AM Friday 09 May 2008 HMV Group Plc, the music, DVD, games and books retailer, has reported better than expected second half sales growth.For the 16 weeks to April 26 the group's total sales increased 11.9 percent and were up 10.1 percent on a like-for-like basis. Like-for-like sales increased 13.8 percent at HMV UK & Ireland and were up 2.2 percent in the International division. Waterstone's like-for-like sales were up 6.6 percent.
