HOSTED BY THE SOCIETY OF YOUNG PUBLISHERS, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE BRITISH COUNCIL AND THE LONDON BOOK FAIRNow in its third year, the UK Young Publishing Entrepreneur award aims to highlight the contribution that entrepreneurs make to the development of the UK's publishing industry by finding the most talented and giving them the chance to become part of the British Council's international network of young creative minds. The SYP seminar, to be held at the British Council on Wednesday, 25th March, promises to be an interesting and lively discussion, with great insights into the market and the industry infrastructure in India. The event will begin with a short introduction by the London Book Fair's Group Exhibition Director Alistair Burtenshaw, who will reveal the highlights of this year's LBF and offer advice on how to make the most of your time there. The six finalists of the UKYPE award 2009 will then talk about their experiences in India and what they learnt about where the current opportunities and challenges lay in a discussion chaired by Simon Littlewood, from the International Board of Directors for the Publishers Association.
