Georgina Sadowski

Posted at 7:14AM Friday 04 Sep 2009

Georgina Sadowski, formerly Key Accounts Executive at ACP Australian Women's Weekly sadly died on the 31 August 2009 after a very short battle with cancer. Georgina started her career within the industry at AMS in Bicester, as a buyer, and then moved to the Aura side of the business, where she honed her excellent buying skills. Georgina had a keen eye for potential which served her very well and grounded her for the role at ACP . Georgina very quickly became part of the close-knit team and made good friends of all her colleagues during her three year tenure. In a typically feisty and brave move, Georgina, and her daughter Clara, left ACP to travel - first to Australia and then on to join her family in New Zealand. Georgina always showed humour, great compassion, courage and determination - qualities which served her well during her brief illness and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by an 18 year old daughter Clara.

— Lynda Ayres and Suzanne Collier
