Novel Split For Literary Couple

While vivacious literary agent Caroline Michel, 50, and her charming husband Lord (Matthew) Evans, 68, were this week hosting yet another of their sophisticated dinner parties, their marriage has, I can reveal, come to an end and the couple are living apart.

While Lady Evans remains at the marital home, her banker husband, boss of publisher Faber & Faber before being ennobled by Tony Blair, has moved to a flat nearby. The couple confirm they have quietly separated after 19 years, and three children together.
