Outcry Over Biography Of Noted Polish Journalist

Kapuscinski criss-crossed the world in the 1960s and 70s, chronicling wars, coups and revolutions in Latin America, Asia and notably Africa, as a foreign correspondent for Poland's official news agency, PAP.

Yet "some of Ryszard Kapuscinski's books should be placed in the category of novels rather than strict reportage," said Artur Domoslawski, himself a journalist who was both an acquaintance and disciple of Kapuscinski.
