Completelynovel.com Opens Up Access To Print-on-Demand Services By Adding Lightning Source As A Partner

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

www.completelynovel.com

CompletelyNovel.com has expanded the printing options available to the writers and publishers within its online community.

Working with Lightning Source, CompletelyNovel customers can now select from a number of options to print their books in the UK and United States. Instead of having to create separate accounts with printing companies, writers and publishers can now get easy, free and instant access to multiple print-on-demand options through CompletelyNovel.com.

CompletelyNovel users can upload their manuscript as a Word Document or PDF and design their cover online. Without requiring any specialist software or technical skills, print copies of their books can be immediately made available to customers. Up until now, all these books were printed by Antony Rowe, the print-on-demand arm of CPI UK.

Instead of using just one printing plant, and shipping books across the world at great economical and environmental cost, CompletelyNovel is the first platform to offer its customers the choice of which printer they want to use, in which country. Users can also create distinct editions of their book for different countries.

Oliver Brooks from CompletelyNovel: "Writers can take full control of how people experience their books. CompletelyNovel offers online publishing, but there are many people who want the comfort of a physical book. Widening access to print-on-demand services means that writers can provide this with no set-up cost and still choose a quality product."

Printing books 'on-demand', rather than printing in long runs and warehousing stock, has grown drastically over the past year. New digital printing technology can offer better quality, price and turnaround times.

CompletelyNovel aims to provide an even better service by enabling its users to choose between printers to get the service which is best for them and their readers.

With an upcoming printing API, CompletelyNovel will be as much a printing platform as a publishing community. Website and app developers will be able to easily link content to book printing services to create a seamless way to turn digital content into printed books, from any service with no setup cost.
