Don't feel too sorry for Tony Blair, who's had to cancel tonight's launch party for A Journey at the Tate Modern after anti-war campaigners threatened to stage a protest outside the event. Book parties may provide opportunities to exchange gossip and flirt with PR girls, but when it comes to selling books they're a waste of time.
