UK start-ups in TOC competition

Two UK publishing start-up companies have reached the semi-finals of the Tools of Change New York Startup Showcase.

BookMachine, an online tool which helps publishers recruit the people with the specific skills sets they need, and Valobox, a pay-as-you-go service which allows readers to access content from publishers across different platforms, have now entered an online public vote to showcase their work along with 18 other semi-finalists.
