Publishing CEOs On Direct-to-Consumer Sales And Marketing

Publishers have traditionally reached consumers through an intermediary, like a bookstore. But Marcus Leaver predicted that less than 15% of sales would come from bookstores by 2014. As shelf space shrinks across the globe, publishers are constantly looking for new ways to reach readers.
