PPC Annual Awards 2012 ShortlistThe Publisher's Publicity Circle (PPC) are delighted to announce the shortlist for the PPC Annual Awards, given to the publicists responsible for the best PR campaigns carried out in 2012. The PPC organises these awards as part of its on-going commitment to book promotion and the campaigns are judged according to the publicist's use of imagination, careful thought and effective planning. Each category receives support from across the book trade and consumer media and for 2012, we are very pleased to welcome the sponsorship of IndieBound UK who are supporting the Best Newcomer category. The PPC are delighted to have on-going support from The London Book Fair, Waterstones, Daily Mail, The Bookseller, Nielsen, Foyles and Bertrams in conjunction with The Reading Agency in the sponsorship of the additional categories. The Annual Awards judging panel will comprise of representatives from each of the sponsors and the winners of each category will be announced at the PPC Annual Awards dinner which will be held on the 13th February 2013. The PPC also presents awards for Events Manager of the Year, Journalist of the Year and Librarian of the Year. These three awards are voted for by PPC Members and the winners will also be announced at the annual awards dinner.
