KIRSTEN REACH JOINS MELVILLE HOUSE

Melville House publishers Dennis Johnson and Valerie Merians have announced that Kirsten Reach has joined the company as an editor. Previously, Reach was at Grand Central, where her last major project was assisting Helen Atsma on The Middlesteins. Prior to that, Reach worked at Henry Holt, and at the Institute for the Future of the Book.

"We're thrilled to have an editor of Kirsten's experience join our editorial team," said publisher Valerie Merians. "She's one of the exciting young editors in the business, and we look for her to boost both our fiction and nonfiction lists."

Reach begins at the company this month, and can be reached at Kirsten@mhpbooks.com.
