Bertrams Reports 8.4% Jump In Revenue But Profit Falls 33%

Connect's (that's Smith News PLC) books division - which includes Bertrams, Dawson Books and Wordery brands - reported an 8.4 percent jump in revenue, but underlying operating profit fell 33.8 percent, due to lower margins and slower returns on investments.
