Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Trade Posts Small Loss In Quarter

Sales in Houghton Mifflin Harcourt's trade publishing division fell 20% in the first quarter of 2014 compared to the first period of 2013, dropping to $32 million from $40 million. The division posted an adjusted EBITDA loss of $1 million in the quarter compared to EBITDA of $7 million in last year's first quarter.
