New library age restrictions imposed on graphic novels to protect children from harmful images risk alienating teenagers, staff have claimed.

Campaign group Child Eyes has successfully called upon libraries in Hertfordshire to restrict loaning of graphic novels after a member found her child reading examples containing extreme images.
