Kirkus Reviews Offers Three New $50k Book Prizes

Posted at 6:55AM Friday 30 May 2014

Only books that have received a starred review in Kirkus will be eligible for the prize, which amounts to approximately 700 titles (out of 7,000 reviewed) a year. In addition, Kirkus will include books that are starred under it's program that reviews self-published titles, which essentially makes this the first major book prize open to self-published titles.
