Transformations in the way content is produced, distributed and used have had the effect of making copyright, once the exclusive domain of attorneys and academics, front-page news. Being in the headlines has helped to fuel a much wider awareness of copyright than ever before, not least among the huge community of content creators and distributors, such as bloggers, with a keen and legitimate interest in how their creations can be used and re-used.
