Dolman Best Travel Book Of The Year Award 2014 Shortlist Announced

A shortlist of six travel books has been chosen for the final round of the Dolman prize, which will be awarded on Tuesday 30th September 2014 for the best travel book published in Great Britain in 2013. (Books listed alphabetically by author surname.)

The Broken Road: From the Iron Gates to Mount Athos, Patrick Leigh Fermor (John Murray/Hachette UK)

American Smoke, Iain Sinclair (Hamish Hamilton/Penguin)

Consolations of the Forest: Alone in a Cabin in the Middle Taiga, Sylvian Tesson (Allen Lane/Penguin)
