Outlander: Is This The Next Game Of Thrones?

Game of Thrones has competition. A major new TV series, based on a cult set of historical fantasy novels, is about to launch after a preview screening at San Diego Comic Con last weekend.

In keeping with the Game of Thrones formula, there is already a large existing fan base for the American writer Diana Gabaldon's Outlander novels.
