Dedalus Offers Publisher In Residence OpportunityPosted at 5:43PM Tuesday 30 Jun 2009 The Publisher in Residence Programme would operate in the same way as a Writer in Residence, with Dedalus having a presence at the host institution. Dedalus would come for an agreed period and give a series of talks about publishing and Dedalus itself; arrange book launches at the host institution and make its authors, translators and editors available for lectures and joint projects. Dedalus would involve the institution's students in actual publishing projects such as marketing, redesigning the Dedalus web site, book editing and promotion. There would be internships for some students and work experience for others from the institution.Go-ahead and innovative institutions interested in this unique opportunity would need to provide accommodation for Dedalus while in residence and office space. A fee for the year in the region of £35,000. The Publisher in Residence Programme to begin in 2010. Outstanding!
