The DFC Library sparks international interest at Frankfurt

David Fickling Books is pleased to announce strong interest at Frankfurt Book Fair for the first three titles in the new DFC Library series publishing in Spring 2010.

Maeve Banham, Senior Rights Manager at Random House Children's Books comments:

'We have had a fantastic response to the DFC novels at the fair from lots of US and European publishers. The graphic novel market is growing and publishers are keen to be a part of this.'

The DFC Library is a bold new collection of comic stories – the most popular strips from the much-loved weekly comic, the DFC, in book form. Each book showcases a single strip from the DFC and features stand-alone content in full colour.

The first three books in the series; Mezolith, Good Dog, Bad Dog and The Spider Moon will publish in the UK in March, April and May 2010.
