Geoffrey Moorhouse

Posted at 7:21AM Monday 30 Nov 2009

Geoffrey Moorhouse, who died on November 26 aged 77, was a greatly talented writer on the wide variety of subjects that snared his interest; he was fortunate, however, not to have been the subject of an obituary 35 years ago alongside a news story headlined: "Intrepid English Journalist Dies in Desert."
