Rich Literary Prize DumpedPosted at 7:44AM Friday 05 Feb 2010 The West Australian Government has scrapped a book prize which was once the richest in Australia.The $110,000 Australia-Asia Literary Award was introduced by the Carpenter Government in 2008 but was put on hold when the new government came in to power. The Arts Minister John Day says the prize has now been scrapped.
