Hitchiker's Guide Greenlit

Disney has greenlit the movie of Douglas Adams' Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, PN reports.

Hollywood is awash with rumour about who will play whom, with Hugh Grant being talked about for the Arthur Dent role. "Hugh Grant was always the actor Douglas wanted for Arthur," says Ed Victor, agent for Adams's estate.

The screenplay is being written by Carey Kirkpatrick who wrote Chicken Run, and the film will be directed by the British directors Nick Goldsmith and Garth Jennings.
