Harlequin (UK) Appoints Donna Condon As Editorial Director, UK

Posted at 11:36AM Thursday 08 Nov 2012

Harlequin (UK) Ltd, a division of one of the world's leading publishers of books for women, has appointed Donna Condon as Editorial Director, UK, responsible for continuing the momentous growth of the company's best-selling Mills & Boon, MIRA and MIRA Ink imprints. She will join Harlequin in January as the business builds on its award-winning digital strategy and continues strategic new author acquisition and key author development.

Donna Condon has an outstanding track record. She joins Harlequin from Piatkus, Little, Brown Book Group, where she was Senior Commissioning Editor with a particular focus on cross-genre commercial fiction. Donna worked with Piatkus, Little, Brown Book Group, for five years during which time she successfully developed new digital opportunities and was responsible for the launch of the digital-first Piatkus Entice list. Before this Donna worked for Virgin Books.

"Our imprints are growing fast and with Donna we have an innovative and forward-thinking senior team member to continue our success into 2013," says Mandy Ferguson, Harlequin UK Managing Director. "Donna brings great experience and ideas to the Harlequin business."
