New Centre For Copyright Study OpensPosted at 8:01PM Thursday 31 Jan 2013 A new project is aiming to help Britain make sense of a fast-moving world of illegal downloads, e-books, social media and digital streaming.The Centre for Creativity, Regulation, Enterprise and Technology (CREATe) is based at Glasgow University. The £5m project involves six other UK universities and 80 industry partners. The centre will look at adapting copyright law to the digital world - and at new ways of making money for companies and members of the public. It will examine areas including music, publishing, the games industry and social media.
